Forgiveness: Understanding the Journey

  • 204 S. Freeman St. (map)

Learning to heal ourselves & our world

There are two simple truths: there is nothing that cannot be forgiven, and there is no one undeserving of forgiveness. When you can see and understand that we are all bound to one another, you know this to be true.

~Desmond Tutu & Mpho Tutu

We're excited to offer a new class this summer at The Oceanside Sanctuary on forgiveness. We all desire to forgive and be forgiven, but often struggle with how to do it in a healthy and effective way. In this group, we will explore the simple yet profound fourfold-path of forgiving, using Bishop Desmond Tutu and Mpho Tutu’s, The Book of Forgiving: The Fourfold Path for Healing Ourselves and Our World, as our guide. Join group facilitators Lucy Salazar and Shauna Schneider as we discover together what it means — and what it doesn’t mean — to forgive.

Space is limited so sign-up early!

Meetings will be held on Zoom, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, for six weeks beginning August 9. You will need your own copy of the Tutu’s book, a journal, a pen, and a palm sized stone of your choosing for the class.
