How (Not) To Read the Bible

  • ONLINE Oceanside Sanctuary (map)

Tired of people using the Bible to justify racism, misogyny, and homophobia? So are we

Do you sometimes wonder:

  • How can we make sense of the violent words and actions found in the Bible — including those attributed to God?

  • Is there a way to read the Bible that doesn’t lead to become judgemental, bigoted, and blindly obey authoritarian leaders?

  • Is the Bible still useful for inspiring a genuinely good spirituality?

The answer is yes! When read honestly and intelligently, the Bible is an incredible source of inspiration and goodness. Join us for this 6-week Zoom class to learn how you can read scripture from an intelligent, faithful, and radically inclusive perspective. RSVP below for the Zoom link.
