Day of Embodiment and Sound Bath: A Men’s Retreat for Deeper Knowing

"Embodiment: A source of deeper knowing" is a one-day event that will focus on awareness of our senses through rituals which help us be more conscious of our bodies. Somatic awareness is vital in helping us navigate the world to better understand ourselves, attune with others and have a deeper awareness of the movements of God.

The day will consist of breath work, meditation, Council, and exercises to help us become better aware of our senses. The second half of the day is devoted to the Sound Bath.

A sound bath is a deeply-immersive, full body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle and yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture the mind and body and spirit.

When: Saturday, January 21st, from 10 am to 3:30 pm.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and get settled.

Where: United Methodist Church 4650 Mansfield St, San Diego, CA 92116

What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, pillow (optional), money for lunch (we will be eating at a local restaurant), water, drum (extra if you have one)
