see 3 great social justice films this summer
On June 22nd, our Queer Committee kicks off our summer film series with a screening of Summer Qamp! Every fourth Saturday at 5 PM throughout the summer, we will be screening an amazing documentary film that connects with important social issues. Just like your favorite theater, we’ll have finger food, popcorn, and drinks! We’ll also have a post-screening Q&A and local orgs represented so you can learn more about great causes and how to make a difference!

Our June Film: Summer qamp
In the forests of Alberta, Canada, sits Camp fYrefly, a haven for LGBTQ+ teens far away from the fierce political battle being waged against them. Uplifting, funny, and moving, Summer Qamp joins the campers as they make friends, explore crushes, and share experiences around transitioning and intersectionality, while never losing sight of the bravery of these young protagonists whose identities are challenged by society outside of the camp boundaries.
