Dear friends,
June marks the end of our fiscal year, which means it’s time for our annual membership drive! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we can only operate by the generosity of our supporters. So just like your favorite public radio station, once a year we invite you to become a supporting member of OSC.
WHAT IS A SUPPORTING MEMBER?
Supporting Members are those members of our congregaiton who contribute regularly because they believe in supporting our mission.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Easy! Here are three simple steps you can take if you’re considering becoming a Supporting Member::
Step 1: Take a minute to learn about our mission commitment.
Step 2: Check our Frequently Asked Questions About Giving.
Step 3: Click here to give conveniently and securely online.
WHAT ARE YOU SUPPORTING?
We gather weekly to learn how to practice Jesus’ teachings. We also host regular groups and classes, family ministries, and learning conversations to grow in our faith in ways that are faithful to the liberating and non-violent life and teachings of Christ.
We also put these teachings into practice by serving the needs of our community.
Sarah’s Hope Kitchen & Pantry operates weekly and provides more than 100 hungry households and unhoused neighbors every month with fresh meat, produce, and shelf-stable food.
Our Justice Works team pursues just local policy change and in 2021 successfully advocated for an enforceable de-escalation policy in OPD.
Our Anti-Racism Team leads our “No Greater Love” group for learning how to become a more anti-racist church and pursue racial healing at OSC in in our community.
Our Queer Committee works to celebrate and empower the LGBTQ community at OSC and in our surrounding communities.
DO YOU VALUE OUR WORK?
We can’t do any of this without your support. If you value our mission and our work, please consider becoming a Supporting Member today by clicking here. Any amount you can give makes a big difference.
Thank you so much for your participation in this unique community of faith! I continue to be humbled and inspired to serve as your Lead Pastor.

Lead Pastor
PS: If you’re already a supporting member, and don’t wish to make any changes to your giving, you don’t need to do anything. Thank you for your continued support!
