Today I have an important and urgent request! One of our OSC families has been matched with a refugee family from Kyiv, Ukraine. They have committed to providing them with a home for the next six months. This young Ukrainian family (husband, wife, and toddler) came to the U.S. with just a suitcase and a stroller. Learning To Share Leadership On The Road From Easter To Pentecost

Easter weekend at OSC was special in more ways than one. It was our first ever hybrid (both online & in-person) Easter gathering, and our first in-person Easter service since 2019! Altogether we estimate roughly 200 people (94 in person & 102 online) worshipped together from at least 4 counties — San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura Counties.

COVID Update: We are back to in-person church Sunday, Feb 13 at 11 AM!

We are excited to return to in-person worship gatherings this Sunday, Feb 13th at 11 AM. As we suspected, Omicron cases are dropping as quickly as they rose. This week, new COVID cases in the country were down to 200,000 from the high of over 1 million just a few weeks ago. As we suspected, that puts us back down to the levels of the third week of December.
